Acadian Asset Management reported higher assets, record quarterly management fees and sharply increased earnings for the three months ended Sept. 30, 2026. The systematic investment manager also declared a $0.10-per-share dividend, payable in December.
Client inflows remained positive, though quarterly inflows were modest compared with the $28.3 billion attracted in the first nine months of the year.
Quarterly results and flows
- Assets under management were $239.6 billion at Sept. 30, up 44% from a year earlier. Acadian received $2.6 billion of net client inflows in the quarter, equivalent to 4% annualized organic growth. It was the company’s 11th consecutive quarter of positive net flows.
- Year-to-date net inflows totaled $28.3 billion, representing 21% annualized organic growth. The company said quarterly inflows were driven by its Enhanced and Extension strategies.
- Management fees reached a quarterly record of $187.8 million, up 38% year over year.
- U.S. GAAP net income attributable to controlling interests was $35.5 million, up 135%. GAAP earnings per share were $1.00, an increase of 138%.
- Acadian’s ENI measure was $48.3 million, up 78%, while ENI per share reached a record $1.36, up 79%. The ENI operating margin was 42.6%, a 9.4-percentage-point increase from a year earlier.
Performance and shareholder return
- Acadian said that, as of Sept. 30, strategies representing 96% of revenue had beaten their respective benchmarks over the three-, five- and 10-year periods.
- The board approved a quarterly dividend of $0.10 per share. It is payable Dec. 23 to shareholders of record at the close of business Dec. 11.
The reported growth in assets, fees and earnings accompanies substantial year-to-date client inflows. The dividend declaration sets the next cash payment for shareholders; the announcement does not state that the dividend was increased.
