FTAI Aviation reported higher third-quarter 2026 earnings and operating profit, led by growth in its Aerospace Products business, and reaffirmed its 2026 and 2027 Adjusted EBITDA guidance across all business lines. The company also announced a $500 million accelerated share repurchase, doubled its total share-repurchase authorization to $1.0 billion and declared a $0.50 quarterly dividend per ordinary share.

Aviation Leasing and Strategic Capital: Strategic Capital now accounts for more than half of Aviation Leasing, reflecting the company’s planned move toward a more asset-light model. Its first Strategic Capital vehicle had closed on 212 of 301 committed aircraft by Sept. 30 and is expected to close substantially all of them by year-end. It paid a 5.0% distribution in the quarter, bringing year-to-date distributions to 17.5% of commitments.

Second Strategic Capital vehicle: The 2026 vehicle began investing in September and ended the quarter with 109 aircraft committed. It closed on a $2.0 billion committed warehouse facility in August.
-
Power: FTAI said it had more than 100 units under contract for delivery to U.S. and Canadian customers in 2027 and 2028. Its Mod-1 product completed critical testing milestones, with first deliveries expected next year.
-
Share repurchases and dividend: The board doubled the repurchase authorization to $1.0 billion. FTAI said it had repurchased $80 million of shares since the authorization was announced in September and separately announced a $500 million accelerated repurchase. The quarterly dividend is $0.50 per ordinary share.
The quarter’s results show growth in Aerospace Products alongside progress in FTAI’s aircraft investment vehicles and Power business. The larger repurchase authorization and accelerated buyback add to the company’s planned capital returns, alongside its regular quarterly dividend.
