Willis Lease Finance reported record third-quarter revenue, higher lease rent and growth in investment income and advisory fees, alongside a sharp year-over-year decline in long-term maintenance revenue. The aircraft-engine lessor also said it plans to refocus on growth across its business platform after prioritizing the launch of Willis Aviation Capital and expansion of assets under management.
- Total revenue reached a quarterly record of $246.3 million, up 34.3% from the third quarter of 2025.
- Lease rent revenue rose 10.2% to a record $84.4 million. The company attributed the increase to a larger average portfolio and a strong lease-rate factor.
- Maintenance services revenue was $11.2 million, up 208.5% from a year earlier. Within maintenance revenue, long-term maintenance revenue fell to $2.6 million from $29.5 million, as the prior-year quarter benefited from higher maintenance reserves and end-of-lease payments on assets leaving service. Short-term maintenance revenue from engines with non-reimbursable usage fees was $36.8 million, down from $46.6 million.
- Management and advisory fees increased 140% to $4.5 million, while income from investments hit a quarterly record of $7.3 million, up 40.8%.
- CEO Austin Willis said the company had focused during the year on launching Willis Aviation Capital and growing assets under management. He said the company is now refocusing on growth across the broader Willis platform, including its own balance sheet, and expects scale benefits to accelerate profits in its core leasing business.
The results show growth in the leasing portfolio and in investment and fee income, while maintenance-related revenue varied substantially by category. The company’s stated plan is to pursue growth both through its balance sheet and across the wider platform.
