Citizen’s Charter application-processing status – October 31, 2026: During October, the RBI received 15,725 applications and processed 15,186, with 15,164 (99.9%) completed within the stipulated timeline and 22 beyond it. At month-end, 2,498 applications remained pending; 2,483 were within timeline and 15 were beyond it, with 13 awaiting inputs from external agencies and two under process. The Charter covered 206 services; the release reported no penalties or regulatory-policy changes.
