Equitas Small Finance Bank Ltd says MD & CEO P. N. Vasudevan has resigned and will continue until his successor takes over
- Vasudevan cited plans to pursue personal and social initiatives, alongside investor concerns about a perceived conflict linked to his daughter’s co-promoter role at an NBFC; he said there are no ongoing transactions between the NBFC and the Bank.
- The Board noted the resignation on October 29; the Nomination and Remuneration Committee will identify candidates, subject to RBI and other required approvals.
- The Bank reported total business above ₹1 lakh crore and quarterly profit of ₹218 crore for the quarter ended September 2026.
