Citizens & Northern Corporation is beginning a planned transition in board leadership. Aaron Singer became vice chair immediately and is expected to become board chair at the company’s 2027 annual meeting, succeeding Terry Lehman.
- Singer has served on the board since 2017 and currently chairs its Governance and Nominating Committee. As vice chair, he will support Lehman and preside when Lehman is absent.
- Lehman plans to step down as chair at the 2027 annual meeting but intends to remain a director, subject to board nomination and shareholder election.
- The change concerns the board’s leadership; no change to the company’s executive management was announced.
The transition gives Singer time to take on the chair role while Lehman remains in place through the 2027 meeting.
